President, BEST Film Studios. Founder of Theatron Media and Native Media, Winnipeg. Executive Producer of Tinsel, the first multi-camera daily soap opera produced by a Nigerian producer in Africa, broadcast across more than 50 countries. Recipient of over 50 international production awards. Associate Visiting Fellow, Bournemouth University.

Dr. Obi Emelonye

Directing

Doctoral researcher, Goldsmiths University of London. Member of Directors UK and the BFI. Credits include The Mirror Boy, Last Flight to Abuja, and Onye Ozi, all streaming on Netflix. Black Mail (2022) became the largest theatrical release of an independently produced Black British film, opening across 100 UK screens. Recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award at the British Urban Film Festival 2022. Profiled twice by CNN African Voices.
