One of our flagship initiatives, the B.E.S.T Film Competition (Black Emerging Screen Talent), is an annual showcase of short films by Black-identifying filmmakers from Canada and around the world.
The competition offers a platform to premiere original short films and engage in audience voting, Viva Sessions with filmmakers, and a professional networking after-party. Winners receive a $2,000 cash prize and potential executive production support to expand their short film into a full-length feature.
