Rogers Ofime is a Nigerian-born, Canada-based award-winning filmmaker, television producer, and entrepreneur with an illustrious career spanning nearly two decades. As an Associate Fellow in Media Production at Bournemouth University in the UK, Rogers combines academic insight with hands-on creative leadership. He has produced over 180 telefilms, more than 8,000 television episodes, 10 documentaries, 8 short films, 30 television commercials, and several acclaimed feature films.

A trailblazer in African television, Rogers was the first Nigerian to produce a multi-camera, studio-based daily soap opera on the continent. His work includes iconic productions such as Tinsel, The Johnsons, WURA (Showmax), and films like Oloibiri, Voiceless, Zero Hour, and the groundbreaking Conversations in Transit, Nigeria’s first feature film shot entirely on a moving train.

As Executive Producer at Native Media and CEO of Theatron Media Inc. in Canada, Rogers continues to push the boundaries of storytelling while mentoring the next generation of creatives. His productions have earned multiple Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), alongside international honors such as the Hollywood International Documentary Award and Best Foreign Film at the San Diego Black Film Festival.

With a deep commitment to elevating authentic African narratives, Rogers Ofime leads BEST Film Studios with vision, integrity, and an unwavering belief in the power of Black voices to shape global cinema.
